Our 1st Professional Family Portrait

Our Family - Oct 09

I’m a photographer and I take a LOT of pictures.   Because of this we have only had professional “studio” pictures taken of Zoe one time, it was when she was 6 months old and it was a local photographer, total cost was  $35.    This time we were going to take pictures for our church’s first color directory and the photos were taken by Olan Mills (Ooo lala!).   I’m very happy with how our photos turned out! We received one free 8X10 and we ended up buying  a couple more because we know we won’t be getting more family photos for a while.   I did hear from my cousin that Portrait Innovations takes great photos and they are reasonably priced, so I think we may try them out for Zoe’s 2nd birthday.

Yep Shaina, I am a blogger too! Although I started with more personal posts, it has blossomed into a review blog, but I enjoy it very much.

Your pics for the church directory are great! We were out of town the WHOLE week they took them, so got Amanda Boer here in town to take some family pics for us, she did a great job. Only to find out they added those extra days in November, so I guess we’ll have Olan Mills take a few more and have even more family pics!

What fun! It looks like your photos turned out very nicely. We’ve actually never had professional family portraits done…maybe we will someday.
